Privacy

MathematiCat is for parents. Children never use the site, never sign in and never type anything into it.

What we store

• About you: your email address (to sign you in) and your time zone.
• About each child you add: a nickname and a grade. No real names, birthdays, schools or photos.
• Practice: the sheets you make and which problems you marked right or wrong.

What we don't do

• No passwords, no advertising, no selling or sharing of data.
• Sign-in emails are sent through our email service, Resend, which receives your address only to deliver them.
• If you sign in with Google, we ask Google only for your email address. We don't get your name, photo or contacts, and we keep nothing else from Google.
• Sheets made without an account are deleted after 90 days if no one saves them.
• We count page visits with Cloudflare Web Analytics, which uses no cookies and doesn't follow you to other sites.
• To limit abuse we count the sheets made each day, per visitor using a scrambled form of the IP address (the address itself is not stored), or per account when signed in. These counts are deleted after 2 days.

Deleting your data

Sign in and go to Account → Delete my account. Everything is deleted at once. To delete one child, open Account, then Edit next to their nickname, then Remove. Their sheets and marks are deleted with them.
